Gerstung developed the AirBase® Subfloor to flex with quick recovery in the immediate vicinity of the foot’s impact. Only the Gerstung floor gives both localized point resiliency and shock absorbency on a stable structure. For over 50 years Gerstung floors have been used world wide and some floors at 50yrs of age are still absorbing and providing resilience to many dancer and athletes.

Our signature studio floor with Action Foam Blocks provides both Absorbency and Resiliency for the dancer/athlete. This Gerstung Floor is a long lasting permanent floor for busy competitive studios, professional companies, schools, colleges/universities, and aerobic facilities/resorts.

A permanent, removable floor with the same sprung criteria as our AB-200 design with Action Foam Blocks. Easy self-install by 2 people with a slide together format, screwed at certain joints. This floor can be removed and taken to your next studio space.

Gerstung Sprung Floor SF-600
A floor providing great shock absorbancy to minimize dancer’s fatigue. This sprung floor has the same plywood stable structure as our AB floors, but with water-impervious Foam Strips making it a more economical. It is a safe shock absorbing floor for Dance, Yoga, Barre, and Pilates Studios.
